It is not a surprise on how Thailand is potrayed around the world mainly cities like Phuket and Bangkok. To most of us the first thing that comes to mind when we hear Phuket is The Redlight District in Patong but there is much more to this beautiful area. Two of the Islands that are less talked about are Koh Yao Yai and Koh Yao Noi, both a 45 minute boat ride from Phuket. They are both hidden gems that only adventureous types might get to see. We visitied Koh Yao Yai for 3 days. We took a night bus from bangkok and a flight back, the internet is full of good information on how to get there. We stayed at Santhiya Resort and Spa on Koh Yao Yai.  With 4 restaurants and 2 pools it is a mini village within a village. So I am going to be focusing on how I captured the moments through my lens.
